Friendship Scarves

Well I have finially finished my Friendship Scarves from the Peaches and Creme Group on Ravelry. The one above was in the "Green" category, and the yarn must contain some green. The one below was "natural tones" so browns, blues, greens etc.

These Scarves were passed around to 4 other people and they worked a little bit with the color of their choice. This makes them absolutely unique

I have been working on WIP's and I am happy to say that I am down to - 2 scarves, 1 doily, 2 pairs of socks and 2 afghans.... so I am hopeful to get them all finished before starting anything else (well that take up a lot of time).

Evie's Angels For March

This time around I made an Angel doily shown above- the pattern is from Maggie's Crochet. The Angel squares below are my design, these were made to go with the last 2 Angel squares I sent her. These are in a royal blue, the camera has made them a bit lighter than they actually are.

YAY! Just finished my first Sweater

Well this is my very first sweater I have ever made. This is in Creative Knitting Jan 2009. This is knit with mercerized yarn I received in grab bag from Peaches & Creme.

I started this a couple of days after I received this issue. I believe I started it Sept/Oct 2008- I can remember doing it when Hurricane Ike came through TX. I did this outside when I had no power... plus it let the kids have a fun time outside.

Here is the cuff is it is just gorgeous, there are 3 bottoms in the back of the cuff, so you have the option of a closed cuff or an open cuff.

Here is a close up of the front of the sweater. This item fits perfectly. This item may have been a long time coming but i am happy to say it is finished. I am enjoying getting my old projects finished. This was the oldest WIP I had so it should be downhill from there.

Completed Sesame Street Hats

Well I now have a complete set of Sesame Street Hats. The last two that were missing were Bert and Rosita.
