Well i just got this in the mail on Thursday the 19th... i was able to play around with it a little bit, but i am so excited to play around with it more. This is the Brother 270 SE Disney machine. It has 70+ built in designs, plus has all of the features of a sewing machine. It also threads the needle automatically (love that part).
Well i tried making a large mickey mouse head and unfortunately my thread kept breaking (i was testing with sewing thread... every spool worked fine except the black), i think the thread was really old... so i had to restart it every time my thread broke and i guess i did it so much that the embroidery machine thought i wanted to start that section again... LOL well i had to toss that sample... but i will try again when i get more black.
I also did a small cute elephant, man this thing is so easy. I was using fabric and stabilizer that i got on sale so i wasn't out a lot of money LOL.
So now i am going to find some water soluble stabilizer so i can make patches YAY.... well after i fiddle around a little more with PE Design, and the brother memory card.
